Topic: Senior Addiction will provide participants with an introduction and definition of addiction related terminology. Dr Miller will share how addictive and potentially dangerous medications are used to treat the both non-terminal and terminal conditions within the elderly population, and what is done to minimize complications.Polypharmacy Pitfalls of Drugs in the Aging Population begins with a review of demographics our aging population. Dr Nguyen will discuss common medications and ways to optimize use of those medications.
