Subject: Exercise should always be a top priority with someone who has Parkinson’s disease as it contributes to a better quality of physical and mental well-being. In the face of the global pandemic, as Parkinson’s patients are at high risk for poor outcomes related to COVID, it is critical to support where and how they exercise. Parkinson’s Resources (PRO) team will discuss the fundamentals of exercise and PD.
Speakers • Melissa Greer, MPH – Parkinson’s Resources Program Manager. Melissa’s background in nutrition and public health is applied through PRO’s various community programs in Oregon. She is especially passionate about health promotion and the holistic approach to the overall well-being of others. • Lauren Tietsort – Parkinson’s Resources Development Director. Lauren’s experience in both the public and private sectors and 20+ years in nonprofit fundraising is leveraged in strong corporate relationships, increased individual support of services, and the mobilization of our community to advance PRO’s mission.

Holiday Giving 2020: Rather than collecting items for senior centers like we've done in the past, since we can't meet and collect your donations we're asking you all to donate to Meals on Wheels People (Multnomah and Washington Counties) or Clackamas County Meals on Wheels Inc. year. Choose your favorite center or donate to the one most in need. Thank you for your generosity!
