Learn about Providence ElderPlace PACE - Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly. Attendees will learn about PACE as a public health option for seniors on Medicaid long term care services, the additional benefits of PACE vs. standard Medicaid, housing and in home care options, eligibility and how to make a referral.
Speaker:
Tory Thompson has been with ElderPlace PACE as a Referral and Outreach Specialist since 2016. Previously, she worked in all levels of senior housing and care including in-home, SNF, ALF, ACH, and MCU for 35+ years. She directed Recreation, Volunteer, Chaplaincy, Marketing programs and hands on caregiving. Tory has designed trainings for memory care and life enrichment for both professional and family caregivers. She's led caregiver support groups and has been a volunteer trainer at The Alzheimer's Association. Tory has a BS in Therapeutic Recreation and Community Education.
