Becoming a SPIN Host

Benefits of Hosting a SPIN Meeting:

  • Receive the names and contact info of the SPIN meeting attendees

  • Show off your building to a large number of long-term care professionals

  • Provide a memorable experience for those in attendance of a quality educational speaker and networking

Guidelines for Hosting a SPIN Meeting:

  • Meeting space for approximately 20-40 people.

  • Adequate parking or shuttle available to and from alternative parking location.

  • Provide one door prize for the attendees and one small gift or gift basket for the speaker.

  • Providing refreshments the day of the event including a protein snack, desserts and drinks.

Who attends SPIN?

SPIN meetings benefit medical social workers, certified case managers, acute care nurses, long term care nurses, guardians, conservators, discharge planners, Medicaid case managers, physical therapists, physicians, and any healthcare professional encountering the challenges of caring for our aging population.

SPIN does not charge attendees for educational events and we do not have dues or members. Without your generosity, it would not be possible to continue to offer these high quality continuing education courses at no cost to our long term care providers.
