Nikki Jardin, Co-founder Mirador Magazine


Nikki Jardin is the co-founder and publisher of Mirador Magazine, an award-winning adaptive-test magazine created to support individuals living with dementia, cognitive change, and neurodivergence.  With a background in writing and care giving advocacy, Nikki is passionate about reducing stigma surrounding dementia and creating meaningful tools that support both individuals living with cognitive change and their care partners.  Through speaking engagements, podcasts, and community collaboration, she continues to champion inclusive design, creative engagement and compassionate approaches to aging and memory care.

  • How the lack of accessible reading can affect community building and connection

  • Tips for creating dementia-accessible reading materials/design and formatting
