Speaker Bio:
Brandy is passionate about working towards a safer and more just world for all. She holds a BA in Sociology/Social Work and experience in public service as an elected official, campaign manager, people organizer, and advocate.
Brandy's smile and tenacity reflect her deep empathy and understanding for those whose voices are often unheard. As the program manager of Friendly House Elder Pride Services, she channels her experience and passion into serving LGBTQ+ older adults, making a tangible difference in their lives.
When she's not making a difference in her professional life, Brandy is a devoted parent to three teen children, a massive dog, and a curious cat. Her love for travel, adventure, the outdoors, and a comforting cup of black tea with honey are just a few of her favorite things.

In these uncertain times, one truth remains clear: LGBTQ+ older adults are facing challenges that significantly impact their ability to age safely. Elder Pride Services acknowledges these increasing needs among our participants and is dedicated to addressing them to ensure a joyful aging experience. In this presentation, we will cover topics such as access to affordable housing, combating isolation, state-wide advocacy, and the creation and effects of Senate Bill 99.
